This explains what Faithmap collects and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as the game needs to run.
What we collect
- Account: your email address (for sign-in) and the username you choose.
- Gameplay: the tiles you claim, your religion, and the public events your actions create (the rivalry log).
- Approximate location: the country your request comes from, derived from your IP address, used only for regional availability and to apply the correct minimum age.
- Technical: basic session and device data needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure.
How we use it
To run the game, keep accounts signed in, enforce our content rules and keep players safe, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Who processes it
We use service providers to operate Faithmap, including hosting, authentication, and database (Supabase) and email delivery. They process data on our behalf, not for their own purposes.
Children
Faithmap is not for anyone under 13. Where your country sets a higher age for digital consent (up to 16 in parts of the EU/EEA), that age applies. If we learn we've collected data from someone below the applicable age, we delete it.
Your choices
You can request access to, or deletion of, your account and associated data by emailing abuse@faithmap.co. We keep data only as long as needed to run the game and meet legal obligations.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
